EU Rural Development funding is available for farm and rural businesses under a number of Defra schemes, most recently the Higher and Mid Tier Countryside Stewardship schemes. The Increment team will bring the expertise gained from success in earlier schemes to the new round of Rural Development Plan for England (RDPE) schemes such as Countryside Productivity and the Growth Programme. Projects for which we have successfully helped businesses obtain funding include:
- Farm shop on an asparagus and strawberry farm
- Dog kennels and training facility on an arable and sheep farm
- Improved processing facilities for specialist poultry enterprise
- Renovation of a Tudor barn for tourism and weddings
- Conversion of redundant buildings for brewery and offices
- GPS equipment
