The team is led by Simon Ward, founder
and Managing Director of Increment Ltd and proprietor
of InsideTrack.
He strives to provide creative
solutions to the problems facing the agricultural
industry based on sound technical understanding
and sophisticated analysis. There are few other
individuals in UK agriculture with his range of
knowledge and experience.
Background: Oxford graduate
with 20 years’ experience of providing business
and agronomic advice to farm businesses. His career
began at ADAS (first dairy and then arable responsibilities)
and then moved to Bidwells, Cambridge where he became
Research Director before leaving in 2001 to set
up Increment Ltd.

of the Institute of Agricultural Management, Member
of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants,
BASIS trained

Christopher Tye
Chris Tye works principally
on business consultancy, greenhouse gas projects
and new product development.
Background: His background is in sales
and marketing, with experience in farm management
and has lived and worked in East Africa for many
years.
He is a graduate of Nottingham University (BSc
Agricultural Science with European Studies), is BASIS
and FACTS trained and fluent in French

Angela Steward
Angela has an impressive track record in obtaining
approval for ELS, HLS and OELS applications and
was one of the first to obtain a Certificate in
Conservation Management (awarded by BASIS).
She is also skilled at advising clients on food
retailing and marketing. Her background was in
product and national account management (food
industry).
In addition to running her own market research
business [link to cwamr.co.uk] Chris Ward works
with Simon and his team as office manager and
as a researcher and sub-editor for InsideTrack.
She is a graduate of Oxford University (BA Agricultural
and Forest Science).

Jane Webster
Jane joined the team at Increment in 2007 and
